Corfu Sluta Leta Rentals is one of Corfu Island’s most prestigious and oldest car hire businesses. We practice transparency, no surprises, open pricing, rent from flexibility, no hidden cost at any cost level. Upon reservation via our website, you agree to these terms. A separate rental agreement will be made for each rental and specific rental information will be provided when the car is collected.
1. Driver Qualification & Age Policy
Vehicles are rented to licensed drivers aged 18 or older, with no upper age limit.
- Drivers aged 18–23:
- May rent selected vehicle groups.
- Driving license must be valid for at least one month.
- Premium Plus (Zero Excess) insurance is not available.
- Drivers aged 24–70:
- May rent all vehicle categories.
- Eligible for all insurance options, including Zero Excess.
- Drivers aged 71–75:
- May rent selected vehicle groups.
- Premium Plus (Zero Excess) insurance is not available.
2. Driving License Requirements
- All valid driving licenses are accepted, including international and newly issued licenses.
- License may be issued less than one month ago.
- The driver must present:
- Driving license
- ID card or passport
- No additional documentation is required.
3. What’s Included in the Rental Price
- Unlimited mileage within Corfu
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup
- One additional driver
- Complimentary Corfu road map
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
- Third Party Liability Insurance
- 24/7 roadside assistance

4. Booking & Payment
- No deposit or upfront payment is required to confirm a reservation.
- Payment options:
- Pay in advance or on arrival
- Cash
- Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express)
- Apple Pay & Google Pay
- Reservations are made by vehicle group, not specific models.
- If the reserved vehicle is unavailable, an equivalent or upgraded model will be provided at no extra cost.
5. Rental Duration & Late Returns
- Minimum rental period: 1 day
- Rental extensions must be requested in advance.
- Returns over 30 minutes late incur a fee of 1/5 of the daily rate per hour.
6. Security Deposit & Insurance Excess
- No security deposit is required for:
- Standard Insurance (Reduced Excess)
- Premium Insurance (Zero Excess)
- Basic Insurance requires a refundable security deposit.
- All rentals include:
- Third-party insurance (as per Greek law)
- CDW
- Optional insurance upgrades:
- Reduced excess
- Theft & fire protection
- Tire & glass protection
- Personal accident insurance
- Excess amounts vary by vehicle group and are shown at booking.
7. Insurance Exclusions
Insurance does not cover:
- Driving under alcohol or drug influence
- Reckless or off-road driving
- Incorrect fuel usage
- Lost keys or theft due to negligence
- Interior, roof, or undercarriage damage
- Unauthorized drivers
- Vandalism caused by the renter or third parties

8. Vehicle Replacement Policy
- Replacements without mechanical issues:
- Renter covers all transportation and VAT costs
- Mechanical or technical failures:
- Free replacement, available only at Corfu offices
9. Smoking Policy
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
- Minimum cleaning charge: €150
10. Fuel Policy
- Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
- Lower fuel level → difference charged
- Higher fuel level → no refund
- Prepaid fuel option available during booking
11. Additional Drivers
- First additional driver: Free
- All drivers must accept the same Terms & Conditions as the main renter
12. Mileage & Island Restrictions
- Unlimited mileage within Corfu
- Travel outside Corfu:
- Requires prior written approval
- Insurance extension required
13. GPS & Vehicle Monitoring
- Vehicles are equipped with GPS for:
- Theft prevention
- Vehicle recovery
- Late return monitoring
- Maintenance & incident management
- Driver authorization verification
- Data processing follows applicable data protection laws.
- Insurance coverage becomes void in case of contract or legal violations.
14. Child Seats
Available upon request:
- Baby seats (0–2 years)
- Child seats (2–5 years)
- Booster seats (5–10 years)
Installation is the customer’s responsibility.
15. Pickup & Return Locations
- Free delivery & pickup:
- Corfu Airport & Gouvia Office
- 08:00–21:59
- Outside these hours:
- Overnight service fee: €25–€30
- Hotel & villa delivery available across Corfu
- Airport pickups include direct coordination upon arrival
- Airport office located within 700 meters of the terminal
16. Vehicle Condition & Cleaning Fees
Vehicles are delivered clean and sanitized.
Additional fees may apply:
- Light Cleaning (€15)
Excess sand, mud, light stains, or food residue
- Deep Cleaning (€60)
Large spills, strong odors, or conditions preventing immediate reuse
17. Force Majeure
The company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or unavailability due to:
- Natural disasters
- Epidemics
- Strikes
- Acts of war
No refunds or compensation apply to premium packages canceled under force majeure.
18. Traffic & Parking Fines
All fines incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
19. Pets
- Pets are allowed only with prior notice
- Proper transport equipment is required
20. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Reservations are held for 45 minutes without notice
- No-show cancellations may incur a one-day rental charge
- Early returns are non-refundable
21. Accidents
In case of an accident:
- Contact us immediately
- Notify the police and submit a report
- If responsibility is unclear, excess may be temporarily charged and refunded if the renter is found not responsible
22. Roadside Assistance
Free assistance covers:
- Mechanical failures not caused by the renter
- Accidents
- Battery issues
- Vehicle malfunctions
23. Travel Outside Corfu
- Vehicles may not leave Corfu without written approval
- Insurance extension fee: €120 (one-time)
- Without approval, insurance and roadside assistance are void
24. Discount Coupons
- Available to returning customers
- The company reserves the right to cancel reservations made with invalid coupons
25. Changes to Terms
Corfu Sluta Leta Rentals reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Online prices may fluctuate based on demand and availability.
